How to build an AR app

Augmented reality (AR) is transforming the way we perceive and interact with the world around us. We can overlay digital objects, information, and interactive elements onto the real world.

Build an AR app

You can quickly build an AR application on the web without any coding.

1. Navigate to Web-AR.Studio.

2. Create a free account.

3. Once your account is created, the dashboard will open. Click on the "Create Project" button.

4. Select the desired type of AR you want to create. Let's select SLAM for this demonstration.

5. Now select how you will view your AR application when it's published. Let's choose AR studio viewer.

6. Your project will open. To start building your AR click on "Create AR."

7. The editor opens. You can choose what to add to the AR application from the top right menu. Let's add a 3D object.

8. Web AR studio has a library of 3D models you can choose from. You can also upload a 3D model from your device.

9. When you choose an object, you will see its details. Click on "Use."

10. The object will appear in your editor. You can edit your design from the menu on the right side. When you are done with the changes, save it. If you are done building your AR application, click on "Publish."

11. Your application will start to publish.

12. When your application is published, click on the "View" button. A QR code will appear. Scan it with your mobile.

13. The AR studio application opens on your mobile.

14. This is how it will appear on your mobile. Click on the blue icon, and your AR object will appear. You can move around the object and examine it.
